Diana's Block Has Arrived

Diana Angus, Completed Kantha-stitched block, 2011

Diana Angus' block arrived from Columbus, Ohio to Ruta Marino's mailbox today.


I'm looking at Diana's blind stitching...and wondering how she was able to get her blind stitching (in white) so evenly spaced!
Nice stitching my friend!


My stitching was all over the place.

    I love the variation of kantha stitches in Diana's block! It's a nice contrast to the even blind stitches.
    My blind stitching was not neat in the least, I actually puckered the block somehow and have a little wrinkle in mine. Very textural, ehem...: )

    Diana is an even person! She even managed to make a box on the blind stitching, mine was all over the place.
